Austin Story
- Graduate Student
Prior to Baylor, I received an M.T.S. and Th.M. from Duke Divinity School and subsequently split time between teaching at a liberal-arts university in the foothills of North Carolina and working in parish ministry. My primary philosophical interests lie at the intersection of philosophical theology and the history of metaphysics–especially patristic and medieval thought. Additionally, I am interested in social and political philosophy, virtue ethics, and the legacy of the Enlightenment. Outside of my academic interests, I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, talking with friends around a campfire, playing board games and sports, and rooting for Appalachian State football!
