Philosophy
I am a Catholic philosopher (in training) and computer scientist (of sorts). Prior to starting at Baylor, I received undergraduate degrees in philosophy, computer science, and mathematics from the University of Findlay as well as a master's degree in computer science (emphasis in theory) from Case Western Reserve University. In addition, I served two research appointments, respectively, at Argonne National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In terms of research, I am especially interested in philosophical theology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, computability theory, algorithms, and hypercomputation. In addition to my academic life, I am an avid basketball fan and dog lover.
