Philosophy

After studying philosophy and theology at Whitworth University, I did a master's in theological studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. When I completed that in 2023, I began working at the Aquinas Institute at Princeton, where I offered seminars, reading groups, and mentorship to students, and occasionally TA'd at the university. I find all philosophy interesting but focus most on the ways that philosophical systems come together to form more or less coherent worldviews. I have been especially influenced by C.S. Lewis, Aquinas, Plantinga, and MacIntyre. I love a good game night, watching and then arguing about great cinema, and Spikeball. The papal theologian once told me to "scour the influence of Occam from [my] mind with fire," so I try to do that when time allows.
