Levi Durham
Graduate Student
I started my graduate studies at Baylor in 2020. I received my B.A (summa cum laude) in philosophy from Western Michigan University, which is located in my hometown, Kalamazoo, Michigan. I’m writing a dissertation on the philosophical foundations and practical limits of consent, but I have broad interests in bioethics, metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of science, and philosophy of religion. Prior to pursuing philosophy, I worked as an arborist, which, as only a handful of people know, is an expert in tree and shrub care. When I am not engaged in philosophy of some form, I enjoy rock climbing, running, cycling, reading Russian literature, volunteering at my church (St. Peter’s Catholic Student Center), and poorly playing the occasional game of chess.
