Philosophy

I started my graduate studies at Baylor in 2025. Prior to that, I received a B.A. in Theology from Reformation Bible College and a M.A. in Philosophy from Franciscan University of Steubenville. My philosophical interests are primarily in Metaphysics, Logic, and Philosophy of Language though I maintain secondary interests in Ethics, Medieval Philosophy, and Philosophy of Religion. Currently, my  research is focused on the following: (1) various approaches to the relationship between ontological commitment and quantification with extension to topics such as ontological pluralism and modal actualism; (2) the viability of an alternative ontology to abstractionism and concretism for possible worlds; and (3) Neo-Aristotelian approaches to theories of semantic meaning as a parallel to recent interest in Neo-Aristotelian approaches to metaphysics. When I’m not doing philosophy, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, reading fiction of all sorts, playing chess, cooking new things, and being snobby about coffee and cocktails.
