Tyler R. M. Sharp
Graduate Student
Tyler R. M. Sharp: I am a first-year doctoral student in philosophy from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have an MA in philosophy from Biola University and a BA in Biblical Studies from Cedarville University. I am primarily interested in ethics, metaphysics, and aesthetics. More specifically, I'm into things like virtue and natural law ethics, the ontology of powers and dispositions, emotions, the metaphysics of gender, and questions concerning the ethics of aesthetic topics like humor and music appreciation. Outside of philosophy, I'm interested in systematic theology and biblical studies, but particularly in the Reformed and Thomistic traditions, an espresso hobbyist, and an avid listener (and guitarist) of extreme metal and rock. My wife, Tess, and I live here in Waco, Texas.
